Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026. Effective for the Cost product at cost.botzone.ai.
The short version
Use Cost to measure and cut your own LLM spend. You own your data, we process it to run the service, and we do not train on it. Pay for the plan you choose. Do not abuse the platform. These terms set out the details. For how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (Terms) are a binding agreement between you and Botzone Ltd (Botzone, we, us), a company registered in Ireland that operates the botzone.ai platform and the Cost product at cost.botzone.ai (the Service). By creating an account, installing an SDK, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. The Service
Cost wraps your Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini clients, attributes your LLM spend to routes and features, and surfaces recommendations to reduce it. The Service includes the dashboard, the ingestion API, and the open-source SDKs. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will not make a change that materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan during a billing period you have already paid for.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys confidential. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
- API keys are issued per project and are hashed at rest. Treat them like passwords; anyone holding a key can submit events to your project.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit data you do not have the right to process through the Service.
- Attempt to access another customer's data, probe or circumvent authentication, or disrupt the Service's integrity or performance.
- Use the Service to build a competing product, or resell it, without our written permission.
- Submit unlawful content, or use the Service in violation of applicable export, sanctions, or data-protection law.
- Exceed the rate limits or plan quotas in a way that degrades the Service for others.
5. Plans, fees, and billing
- The free tier is provided at no cost subject to its published limits. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on the cycle shown at checkout.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for any applicable VAT or other taxes. Prices shown in EUR on the dashboard are converted from USD using a daily reference rate and are indicative; the charged amount is the one shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and will retain paid features until the end of the current period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before it applies to your next renewal.
6. Your data and ownership
As between you and us, you own the data you submit through the Service (your LLM call metadata and, where you opt in, raw request and response bodies). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models. You are responsible for ensuring you have the lawful basis to submit any personal data, and for using the SDK's metadata-only default unless you have a reason to enable body capture.
7. Open-source SDKs
The Cost SDKs (@botzone/cost-sdk for TypeScript and botzone-cost for Python) are published under the MIT licence. Your use of the SDK source is governed by that licence, which prevails over these Terms for the SDK code itself. These Terms continue to govern your use of the hosted Service the SDK talks to.
8. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided on an as available basis. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment on the free tier. Any service-level commitment for paid plans, if offered, will be stated in a separate order or service-level document.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Cost recommendations (including model-downgrade suggestions and verification results) are decision support, not guarantees; you are responsible for reviewing and applying any change to your own systems. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cost estimates will exactly match your provider invoices.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold Botzone harmless from claims arising out of data you submit through the Service, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or the rights of a third party.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your projects or account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to the platform or other customers. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete or return your data in line with the retention terms in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
